nLighten hires: four Site Managers

If you already have experience in the data center industry and operations, would like to continuously develop yourself and work in a dynamic environment, then you are the right person as a nLighten Site Manager. Exciting tasks await you, because thanks to our scale-up character, you will have the opportunity to help develop numerous processes from scratch.

As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the operation of the nLighten data centers in a region.

nLighten is looking for four Site Managers - one for each region:
  1. Region North: Hamburg/Hanover
  2. Central Region: Düsseldorf/Cologne
  3. Southwest Region: Frankfurt/Stuttgart
  4. Southeast Region: Munich/Nuremberg

Required qualifications and personal attributes

  1. Proven leadership experience
  2. At least 3 years of experience in the data center industry (operations)
  3. Very good communication skills and customer orientation
  4. Very good written and spoken German and English
  5. Ability to work in a team
  6. Independent and accurate way of working

Main responsibilities

  1. Managing the service technician teams at multiple sites
  2. Oversee building management as well as customer operations
  3. Ensure company standards and customer service levels
  4. First point of contact at assigned locations
  5. Onboarding as well as training and instruction of employees
  6. Scheduling shift, on-call duties and vacation schedules

Further tasks

  1. Monitor the data centers to ensure a safe and professional environment for our employees and customers
  2. Coordinate customer service activities
    • Prompt and efficient handling of all customer inquiries
    • Receiving and logging deliveries and goods for nLighten and customers
    • Analysis and solution of technical problems
    • Troubleshooting, guided by customers
    • Dealing with customers via phone and email regarding all relevant issues
  3. Installation of power and data cables for customer environments
  4. Monitoring status of all technical systems and taking appropriate action in the event of a fault
  5. Maintaining the 24-hour log regarding relevant events of the day
  6. Support of the facility manager in the execution of repairs and maintenance
  7. General service for "internal" customers
  8. Assumption of other occurring and necessary activities in the data centers
